Will my tattoo be completely gone?

Complete removal isn't guaranteed for every tattoo, but significant fading is expected.

Are there any risks or side effects?

Common side effects include temporary redness, swelling, blistering, or scabbing. Rarely, there may be changes in skin pigmentation (lightening or darkening) or mild scarring.

How soon after getting a tattoo can I start removal?
You should wait at least 6 months after getting a tattoo before beginning laser removal. This allows the skin to fully heal and the ink to settle, reducing the risk of complications.

Can people with darker skin tones safely get laser tattoo removal?
Yes, laser tattoo removal can be safely performed on darker skin tones. Advanced systems like the Q-switched Nd:YAG are designed to minimize the risk of pigmentation changes.

Do I need to prepare before my laser tattoo removal session?
Yes. Avoid sun exposure, tanning beds, and self-tanners on the treatment area for at least 2 weeks before your session. Shave the area (if needed), stay hydrated, and avoid applying lotions, perfumes, or makeup on the day of treatment. Let your provider know about any medications or skin conditions in advance.

Can I continue my normal activities after each session?
In most cases, yes. You can resume normal daily activities, but avoid intense physical exercise, hot tubs, saunas, or swimming for 24–48 hours after treatment. It's also important to keep the area clean, dry, and protected from the sun as it heals.

Can someone come into the treatment room with me?
For safety reasons, only the client receiving treatment is allowed in the laser treatment room. Laser equipment can pose risks to anyone not wearing proper protective gear. We appreciate your understanding and are happy to accommodate companions in our waiting area.

How long should I wait before donating blood or plasma after treatment?
You can typically donate blood or plasma about two weeks after treatment, as long as there is no redness, inflammation, or skin irritation at the treated area. However, we recommend checking with your blood donation clinic for their specific guidelines.
